About Us

Learning Edge Childcare & Preschool is family owned and operated. This provides us with the ability to deliver personalized service and respond to the needs of the children and parents alike.

Providing a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment for your child is our number one priority. We look forward to being able to provide you with a tour of our facility and the opportunity for you to see what makes us a great choice for your family!

What began as an idea in 1995 by founders Ron and Deb Karfonta, our New Berlin location opened to the public in August 2000. In 2003, plans were started for a second facility located in Oak Creek, which opened in August 2004.

Parent Involvement

We believe that parents and caregivers are partners in helping their children learn and develop; parent involvement is therefore integral to our philosophy of quality childcare. The Learning Edge staff focuses on relationships with not just the child, but with the parents as well.

Parents are encouraged to become a member of our Parent Forum group, become involved through volunteering, visiting their child throughout the day, joining them for lunch, or chairing a specific project or event, such as Grandparents Day. By developing a partnership with your child's caregivers, you ensure the best quality care for your child.
