Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is structured to make learning fun. We understand that children learn through play; therefore, our curriculum focuses on stimulating activities that are based on your childs interests and developmental level.

Our goal is to maximize your child's self-esteem and personal development. Activities will vary throughout the year and by age, but will include art projects, small and large group activities, science and cooking experiments, sand and water exploration, and music exposure. All children will have access to our Media Center, which includes computers with age appropriate software, books on tape, magazines, and board games.

Outdoor play is an integral part of the Learning Edge experience. We have two safe, secure playgrounds that have been designed around your child's natural need to explore. Our playground for children two and over features a brand new climber with a protective rubber surface. Other activities include balancing, playing ball, and riding bikes and tricycles.

Our separate infant and toddler playground incorporates the limited mobility of our youngest children with their curiosity about the outdoors, and features riding toys, a grassy area for running or crawling around, a soft rubber surface, and a toddler size climber.

Classroom Guides

Each classroom has a welcome packet which is provided to parents on or before their child's first day. These guides provide parents with an overview of the classroom and the schedule of activities for that room.
